I have a Dell Inspiron I updated to Windows 10 a couple of months ago It worked fine until a week ago I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out. If anyone has any ideas that aren't in the first million or so google results please let me know.

The only information that I have for installing older printers and printer drivers in Windows 10 is listed at the link below. Installing Older Printer Drivers in Windows First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue. Disconnect the printer. Hit the Windows key and the x keys at the same time, programs and features, your printer, uninstall. Restart your computer.

Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal. Download the Vista bit drivers for Windows 7, 8, 8. Connect the printer at this time powered on. I think the only problem was that during an uninstall there was still an item listed in the uninstall window.
